Is Massage Therapy Right For You?

Pain relieving massage

Massage therapy is effective in relieving pain, restoring function and promoting health. This is achieved through assessment and treatment of the soft tissues of the entire body. Massage also helps relieve the stress and tension of everyday living that can lead to disease and illness.

Massage therapy is an important part of many rehabilitation programs, and has also been proven beneficial for many chronic conditions, including low back pain, arthritis, fatigue, diabetes, high blood pressure, immunity suppression, bursitis and depression just to name a few.

I have had several massages prior to going to Nataliya and never had anyone as skilled as her to make me feel so comfortable that I fell asleep. She is very professional and thorough, constantly checking if her pressure is ok. Nataliya’s massages have been very beneficial to my health because she listened to my feedback and requests and focused on my needs.

Nataliya is the BEST! I recommend Nataliya to anyone who wants a massage that is specific to your needs. She is always booked so make your appointment at least three days in advance.

There are many variations of massage and a multitude of different techniques. These techniques may include one or more of the following: kneading, compression, vibration, stroking, friction, tapping, rocking and pressure to the muscular structure or soft tissues of the human body. This may also include non-forceful passive or active movement and/or application of techniques intended to affect the energetic systems of the body. The use of oils and lotions are used to reduce friction on the skin.

I have had neck and back pain for many years. I have had my share of massages throughout the years to try to help relieve the pain. I was always disappointed in the results until I met Nataliya. She really listened to my needs. She was able to modify her massages to accommodate my needs and was willing to focus on certain areas longer if need be. She uses techniques that I have not encountered elsewhere. She is very effective, and I feel so much better when she is done. I would highly recommend her.

Increase the Benefits with Regular Visits

I first came to Nataliya because I wanted to have a relaxing massage to help eliminate stress from work and daily life. I was very irritable, short tempered, and would get headaches from time to time. Just having the massage, along with the calming music in the room makes trouble seem to fade away. The settings for the massage room are perfect for helping anyone relax. After a session, I am always just floating along with a smug look and calm feeling. If you have not yet had a professional massage with Nataliya, you are missing out!

Getting a massage can do you a world of good. Getting massages regularly is even better. Taking control of your health with regularly scheduled self-care can play a big part in how healthy you’ll be and how youthful you’ll feel with each passing year.

Budgeting time and money for massage therapy at consistent intervals is truly an investment in your health. Remember: just because massage feels like a pampering treat doesn’t mean it is any less therapeutic.

Consider massage appointments as an integral piece of your health and wellness plan, and work with your therapist to establish a treatment schedule that best meets your needs.
